Recently, we delivered a KB 18 drill rig in a very attractive color combination to a geotechnical engineering office in Thuringia, Germany. Equipped with a four-speed power head, a high-pressure coring pump, as well as a double pipe clamp, the compact unit is designed to sink 146mm wireline core drillings. In addition, the also mounted lifting clamp allows various other drilling methods such as those with casings of 178 und 219mm diameter, hollow auger drillings up to 219mm diameter, and also those with cable tools and buckets.

Furthermore, other versions of the drill rig allow percussion, flush, and DTH hammer drilling.

The use of high-quality parts made in Germany and neighboring countries, plus state of the art engine and waste gas technology, and last but not least, a highly effective hydraulic system constitute a convincing package.
