The new drill rig KB22 is a special customized version equipped with auxiliary boom and hydraulic tilting device for operation in extreme slopy terrains.

The brand-new water-cooled and noise-protected HATZ diesel engine fulfills current vehicle emission standards such as “EU 97/68 Stage III“ and “EPA TIER 4”. Both the adjustable and the proportional hydraulics as well as the newly designed control stand allow a very ergonomic and sensitive handling of the control elements.

Apart from auger drilling and down-the-hole-hammer drilling, wireline core drilling ø146 can be carried out with the KB 22. For this purpose a newly developed breaking-clamp has been mounted above the lifting clamp having a clamping range of 60 – 180 mm, which allows a passage of casings with a diameter up to 219 mm.
