Our company has developed the completely new KB 18-DP probing and drilling unit. It is equipped with a very powerful impact hammer with integrated rotation function and backed by an enormous retraction force of 220 kN!
These capacities allow the use of different types of sounding and probing techniques as well as the so-called direct-push explorations fast and to greater depths. Both can be retrieved quickly and easily without the need for supplementary retraction equipment.
The mast’s extremely variable kinematics represent another highlight. Anything goes: both lateral and longitudinal tilting, rotating, plus shifts in two axis. Included in the delivery is a radio remote control for all functions as well as a pipe clamp that can be moved for two drilling axis.
Rotary drillings with augers and hollow augers can be performed without having to exchange the power unit, or swinging it out thanks to the fact that the impact hammer’s rotational function can be utilized  without its impact function.
