Apart from standard exploration procedures there is an increasing demand for drill masts being operated with excavators in the field of detecting unexploded bombs and munition. The fundamental advantages of this drilling technique are on the one hand the possibility to perform directional drilling (anchor drilling)  and on the other hand an optimal control of the drill string.

By means of a remote control the drilling process can be managed and supervised at safe distance. The weight of the MBL 33/12 drill mast is only 1.000 kg and the feed length is 3.300 mm. On request it is possible to supply the drill mast together with a special transport trailer.
