In October we delivered a new KB 13 drilling rig to Laboratory Hart GmbH in Neuwied -Germany especially designed to perform various geotechnical drilling jobs.

This special KB 13 drilling rig is not only equipped with a power head suitable for auger, mud and core drilling and casing push-pull device but also with a hydraulic hammer for window sampling application. Both can be swung in and out of drilling axis. Thus it is very easy to sample within a bore hole.

Additionally we supplied a dynamic probing device for performance of DPH, DPSH and SPT tests. The hydraulically operated device can be adapted to the KB 13 drill rig by means of the drill rig winch. For easy transport the dynamic probing device is equipped with wheels.

First field works with a double tube core barrel Ø146 mm down to 20 m depth succeeded perfectly.

With the new KB 13 drilling rig we surely offer an all-round drilling rig, which is unequalled regarding both compactness and versatility.

Our next smaller KB 10 drill rig can be equipped in similar versatility but with pneumatic DPH probing device and is not suitable to apply the aforementioned double tube core drilling.
